DASIC AEROKLEEN TANKLEEN is a very high performance concentrated deep soak toilet cleaner for removing tar-like deposits from aircraft toilet tanks and systems.
DASIC AEROKLEEN TANKLEEN can be used on both vacuum and recirculating toilets either in place or when the systems are stripped for servicing.
DASIC AEROKLEEN TANKLEEN, when used regularly in conjunction with DASIC’s range of toilet servicing products, will maintain the efficiency of pumps, holding tanks and associated pipework.
APPLICATIONS
In-service cleaning of toilet systems
1. Drain toilet holding tanks and flush with clean water to remove any remaining paper and waste contamination.
2. Pump Aerokleen Tankleen, as supplied or diluted with up to 1 part water, from a service truck into the toilet holding tanks to 2.5 cm above the toilet “flapper” valves. Aerokleen Tankleen may also be poured directly into toilets.
3. Allow the cleaner to remain in the tanks as long as possible and periodically flush (hourly, if possible) the toilets to re-circulate the cleaner.
4. Drain the cleaner and thoroughly rinse the holding tanks with water before adding any other products.
Workshop cleaning of toilet parts
1. Fill a Soak tank with Aerokleen Tankleen as supplied or diluted with 1 part water.
2. To manage the tank odours, add 4.0 litres per 1000 litres of Aerokleen TSD to the Aerokleen Tankleen/water solution.
3. Allow the parts to soak until the soils have been penetrated. Mechanical agitation will reduce the required soak time.
4. Remove the parts from the tank and spray rinse with water.
